Note: I don't know how to install a proper comments system, so the yeeky tagboard and a desolate forum will have to do for now. Click on Now Showing to see what's cooking. 24/04/2008 Ok, yes, it's been a long time coming. Updated the One Light Project. Hope it's worth the wait!
28/02/2008 As usual, I'm a lazy bum with a short attention span. After setting this site up, I'm pretty much spent. Not sure when I'll be able to update the audio narrative again, but hey, never fret. While I suck at finishing things, I'm good at starting things, haha. So, I hereby present to you, a sketchy start to the One Light Project.
11/02/2008 Finally, dazephyr.net is online with some actual content. Sorry about the simple layout and all, don't really have time to do much. The hope is that the works here will more than make up for it, haha. When I first conceived the idea of dazephyr.net, it was to be a platform to showcase my latest creative efforts, to force me to produce new creative works on a regular basis. But like all my projects, I tend to start them off in some corner of my head, and keep them there. The luckier ones get written down and stashed in my digital mess of notes, and the luckiest ones actually see some light on the web. So while I had a filler page up for some time, I never really got down to doing anything. Initally, I wanted to feature my graphic novel 'The Smiling Musicians', and the more recently written online comic 'Deathseekers' here, but I couldn't do it without an artist, and I realised that my art skills were way too atrocious to attempt any sketches myself, so that never really took off. In fact, dazephyr.net would still be gathering digital dust, had it not been from a sudden urge and inspiration to write, from watching the Chinese movie Perhaps Love. But that's another story more fittingly told in its own section. Why dazephyr.net? Well, at the time, I was in my mad digital landgrab phase, so I was basically thinking of domain names I wanted to keep for future use, with no inkling of what I was going to do with them. Dazephyr has always been my fondest online alias that I have kept for a long time, but hardly used as I didn't want to spoil its magic. I reserved it solely for creative purposes, keeping it in my dreamworld. So it is only fitting that dazephyr.net is now used to share my various completed and ongoing creative projects. This has been one project I should have embarked on a long time ago. I can only hope that I continue to update and maintain this project with the passage of time, and eventually turn it into something I can be proud of. If you like my works and would like to work with me, do drop me a mail. Welcome to my digital creative journal!
