The Legacy of Seven
Legend has it that when the world was created, the gods presented man with seven gifts, never to be opened till man faced the direst of situations. Alas, curiosity triumphed over prudence, and the gods’ gifts were revealed to be a test of man’s restraint. As punishment for man’s folly, unspeakable evils rushed forth, threatening the extinction of mankind. The catastrophe was halted by the sacrifice of seven warrior monks, their spirits now trapped for eternity within the gifts as the price for containing the evils within. Two millennia later, man looks set to repeat his folly unless two novice monks of the shattered order can fulfil their quest in time.
